Key Accountabilities
Maintain and build current business whilst developing new business opportunities with customers, this role is a 50:50 split between new business and account management. The successful candidate will be equally at home developing new business by identifying key targets as well as maintaining and further development of existing business. You will be making regular visits to customers. Building internal relationships in the key areas of purchasing, operations, marketing and technical at all levels within the organisation. Liaison with flavour technicians and technical department to ensure the successful launch of new products. Developing relationships with all types of food production companies. Experience selling ingredients into the beverage sector is particularly of interest, as is experience of dealing with food service and food manufacturing customers.
Personal Profile
Proven success in sales, project management and planning, you will have some experience in both account management and account development
A commercially strong character with the passion to grow a set of UK clients
Ingredients sales experience into beverages is preferred
You will have the ability to persuade and influence
The best communication skills
You will know what excellent looks like
Ideally a food science or similar qualification
It would be greatly advantageous if you have a background either as a technologist, in flavour applications or as a flavourist as well as some sales experience
You will need to be willing to travel throughout the UK & if necessary Europe
